Good afternoon BPHC,
All HRSA staff (both bargaining unit employees (BUEs) and non-BUEs) with official duty stations within 50 miles of a HRSA facility (using the most direct route) will return to the office on Monday, March 17. (If you are 50 or more miles from a HRSA facility, see below.)
To prepare, please review the following information:
Workplace Flexibility Agreements (WFA) and telework adjustments
- If your current WFA authorizes regular telework or remote work, you must submit a new WFA for ad hoc telework via the HRSA Workplace Flexibilities System by Friday, March 7.
- After updating your WFA, you must submit ad hoc telework requests for any planned telework days during the week of March 10-14, as March 17 falls in the middle of a pay period.
- As part of the WFA approval and timecard update process, existing leave requests may be deleted. If your leave is affected, please re-enter your requests after ITAS updates are complete.
- You will receive a confirmation email once updates to your WFA and ITAS are complete.
Space and equipment
- If you report to 5600 Fishers Lane, office leadership will work with BPHC’s Executive Officer on seat assignments. You will receive more information regarding your assigned space from your office leadership and a communication from DWM during the week of March 10-14. If you currently have an assigned workspace, it may change as we continue to work through the return to office process.
- If you report to a regional office, you should receive a communication from the Regional Administrator with information about the building, your space, and parking guidance.
- As we transition to assigned workspaces at 5600 Fishers Lane, all hoteling reservations will be canceled starting Friday, February 28. Between this date and March 17, staff working onsite should sit in available cubes within BPHC space. You can designate your space for the day by writing your name and the date on the provided whiteboard. Please be respectful during this time.
- If you have government-furnished equipment (e.g., docking station, keyboard, camera) at home, you must return this equipment to 16W05B (Mark Walsh’s cube) by Wednesday, March 19. Label the items with your name using the provided Post-It notes and place them in the designated box. Please do not return any used headsets.
Parking at 5600 Fishers Lane
- BPHC is waiting for guidance from PSC on the forthcoming application and lottery process for parking at 5600 Fishers Lane. For additional parking options, review the parking information (PDF) prepared by HRSA. It includes contact details, pricing, space availability, and an aerial map of the following areas:
- On-site parking at 5600 Fishers Lane
- Twinbrook Metro parking
- Nearby reserved lots and metered parking
For HRSA staff with official duty stations 50 miles or greater from a HRSA facility (using the most direct route), the return date is Monday, April 28. We do not have any more details at this time, but we are working with our HRSA partners to get more information.
If you have any questions, reach out to your supervisor. Thank you for your attention to this matter. We appreciate your cooperation as we transition back to full-time in-office operations.
