happy-holidays

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the entire Bureau of Primary Health Care, thank you so much for all you do to improve the health of people across this nation. It’s not easy to create a medical home, become a trusted source of care, and encourage someone to make healthier choices. Every day, you work hard to make these things a reality in your community.

We hope you can take a moment or two this holiday season to reflect on and celebrate the difference you make. Wishing you happy and safe holidays!

Sincerely,

Jim Macrae, Onyeka Anaedozie, and Tonya Bowers
HRSA Associate Administrator and Deputy Associate Administrators

TOMORROW: Join the December UTC Member Meeting

Webinar Recording and Slides: Health Center Performance Improvement Toolkit

toolkit-illustration

We recently introduced our Health Center Performance Improvement Toolkit. If you missed our November 14 webinar overviewing it, watch the recording. The National Center for Equitable Care for Elders (NCECE)* and the Kentucky Primary Care Association shared how partner organizations can support you in using the toolkit. You can access the webinar slides, the toolkit, and other resources on the Health Center Performance Improvement Toolkit webpage.

Use the toolkit to conduct self-assessments to understand the focus areas and potential activities needed to achieve your performance improvement goals — it includes a guide and a tool for doing so. These resources aim to foster innovation, enhance patient care, and improve health outcomes for the underserved populations you serve.

*NCECE is a HRSA-funded National Training and Technical Assistance Partner (NTTAP).
