Deadline Reminder: SAC Applications for January 1 and February 1 Starts
The application deadlines are approaching for FY 2025 Service Area Competition (SAC) NOFOs for service areas with a January 1, 2025, or February 1, 2025, period of performance start date.
The table below lists application deadlines for all released FY 2025 SAC NOFOs. We’ve bolded the rows to which this announcement refers.

FY 2025 BPR NCC Released for March 1 Budget Period Starts
HRSA released the FY 2025 Budget Period Progress Report (BPR) Non-Competing Continuation (NCC) (5-H80-25-003) for Health Center Program award recipients with a March 1 budget period start date. These award recipients have a BPR submission available for completion in EHBs with a deadline of 5:00 p.m. ET on Friday, October 4.

Office Hours for FY 20/21 PCHP Final Progress Reporting
If your health center received Ending the HIV Epidemic – Primary Care HIV Prevention (PCHP) funding for FY 2020 or FY 2021, your final semi-annual progress report is due Sunday, September 15. The report will be available in EHBs on Sunday, September 1. We’re hosting an office hour session to address your questions. Note that this session is ONLY for FY 2020 and FY 2021 awardees.

PCHP Investment Team at the 2024 National Ryan White Conference on HIV Care & Treatment

National Immunization Awareness Month
August is National Immunization Awareness Month, a time to highlight the importance of vaccination for people of all ages. CDC recently published reports on the benefits of vaccination and updated guidance:
- CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices updated their recommendations for the use of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccines in adults who are 60 or older. See CDC's report.
- Researchers concluded that routine childhood immunizations have been an important cost-saving public health strategy. Read the CDC report.

The webinar recording pages for our two-part series offer related resources.
- Session 1: Speakers highlighted milestones and challenges of childhood development. They explored prevalent diagnoses, the impact of maternal behavioral health conditions during the perinatal period, and risk and protective factors influencing child well-being. Access the recording page.

Ending the HIV Epidemic in the United States, First Steps for Health Centers
Join to learn about the National HIV/AIDS Strategy. The strategy provides an update to the HIV National Strategic Plan (2021). It aims to end the HIV epidemic by 2030, while also setting expectations to ensure patients living with HIV receive treatment, HIV health outcomes are improved, and health disparities are reduced.
Speakers will share approaches to care coordination for the newly diagnosed, advances in HIV management, and ways to measure success with your HIV programs. The content aligns with Health Center Performance Improvement domain of quality, patient care, and safety. Renaye James Healthcare Advisors host this webinar in partnership with the National LGBTQIA+ Education Center.

Maintaining Personal Connection in a Digital Age Learning Collaborative

NACHC eConsult Publications
The National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) and the Center for Connected Health Policy published two eConsult resources:

“E-Consult Trends Across Medicaid Programs and Impact on FQHCs” looks at a sampling of states to examine trends in eConsult policies that allow, exclude, or do not specify a policy specific to FQHCs, resulting in reimbursement and telehealth operational implications for health centers. “E-Consult Medicaid Fee Schedule – January 2024” provides a state-by-state listing of eConsult codes used by state Medicaid fee-for-service programs for this year. Access it on the Health Center Resource Clearinghouse.
