Policy Tip Series Concludes
For about six months, each Digest has included a tip to clarify Health Center Program Policy. Our goal was to get you the information you need — your input drove the topics we featured. We have now concluded this series.
What if you still have policy questions? You can always consult our Health Center Program Compliance FAQs. If you can’t find an answer there, reach us via the BPHC Contact Form.

Action Needed: Ensure Your Scope of Project is Accurate
Your scope of project defines the activities Health Center Program funding can support. It includes sites and services, along with providers, service area, and target population. Maintaining an accurate scope of project is a requirement of the Health Center Program. Ensure yours is accurate by reviewing:
- How services are provided on Form 5A.
- Site addresses and hours of operation on Form 5B.
To update your scope of project, submit a Scope Adjustment or Change in Scope (CIS) request through the EHBs.
Find policies, sample forms, and instructions on the Scope of Project Resources webpage. Submit questions via the BPHC Contact Form (Program Monitoring H80 > Change in Scope > [select the best option for your question, e.g., if your question is about hours of operation, select Scope Verification/Adjustment]).
