HRSA recently announced the FY 2023 Early Childhood Development (ECD) notice of funding opportunity (NOFO, HRSA-23-028), which makes available approximately $30 million for up to 150 awards. SAMHSA’s FindTreatment.gov tool is a comprehensive resource for those seeking treatment for mental and substance use disorders (SUD). People can search for treatment from multiple sources including health centers. Register your health center for enhanced outreach to your communities and better visibility of your mental health and substance use treatment services. HHS Fact Sheet: COVID-19 Public Health Emergency Transition Roadmap
HHS plans to implement an orderly transition away from the emergency phase of our response to COVID-19 with an end to the Public Health Emergency on May 11. While COVID-19 is not over, and it remains a public health priority, we have the tools – vaccines, testing, and treatments – to manage the virus. The administration’s continued response to COVID-19 is not fully dependent on the Public Health Emergency, and there are significant flexibilities that will not be affected as we transition away from the emergency phase of our response. This fact sheet can help you understand what will and will not be affected.
Puerto Rico Health Centers: Test and Vaccinate Children for Dengue
If you are a health care provider in Puerto Rico, order a dengue test today for all children ages 9-16 years. Inform children and their parents about the risks of dengue, and how getting the vaccine can protect them. If their test result is positive for a previous dengue virus infection, encourage them to get the vaccine. COVID-19
CDC Guidance on Single-Dose Vials – Featuring HRSA-funded Health Centers!
CDC recently released guidance on single-dose vials of the updated (bivalent) Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for people 12 years of age and older. This single-dose vaccine is available for ordering. It provides greater flexibility for vaccine administration partners to expand access and availability of the updated vaccine. CDC’s update (PDF) includes examples of how health care systems and organizations are using the single-dose vials – including two stories of HRSA-funded health centers.

Provider Relief Fund Reporting Period 4
The Provider Relief Fund (PRF) Reporting Portal is open until 11:59 p.m. ET on Friday, March 31. Providers who received one or more PRF (General or Targeted) and/or American Rescue Plan Rural payments exceeding $10,000, in the aggregate, from July 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021, must report on their use of funds during Reporting Period 4 to comply with PRF Reporting Requirements (PDF).
