On Friday, December 9, CDC recommended the use of updated (bivalent) COVID-19 vaccines:
- Pfizer-BioNTech for patients ages 6 months-4 years.
- Moderna booster for patients ages 6 months-5 years.

These recommendations follow FDA’s authorization of these products on Thursday, December 8. CDC’s updated Fall Vaccination Operational Planning Guide (PDF) includes details about updated (bivalent) COVID-19 vaccines for patients ages 6 months-5 years.

Health Center COVID-19 Vaccine Program participants
Ordering will follow the vaccine program’s weekly cadence. However, next Wednesday (December 14) is the LAST vaccine ordering deadline for 2022! Reference the holiday ordering schedule.
You may place your next vaccine order in the Health Partner Order Portal (HPoP) until 11:59 p.m. your local time on Wednesday, December 14.
