Dear BPHC Staff:
With a current response rate of 62.4%, BPHC still has a ways to go to reach our goal of 80%. The FEVS closes this Friday, July 22. Make your voice heard today!
When more employees participate in FEVS, the results are more meaningful—and changes based on those results are more likely to address your concerns!

What is the Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS)? The FEVS is a confidential, government-wide survey, administered annually by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). The survey is designed to “measure employees’ perceptions of whether, and to what extent, conditions characterizing successful organizations are present in their agencies." FEVS is an opportunity for employees to candidly share their viewpoints about work experiences, organizations, leaders, and more.
Why is it important for as many BPHC employees as possible to participate in the FEVS? The FEVS data is an important tool for BPHC leaders and managers to use in understanding employee concerns, and promoting a positive, healthy, and innovative work environment. The higher the participation rate, the more confidence that can be placed on the results being representative of the larger population of the bureau.
Who received the 2022 FEVS? Employees on-board before November 20, 2021, are eligible to take the survey.
How long does it take to complete the FEVS? Completion of the survey takes about 20 to 30 minutes, and can be done on official work time.
When is the 2022 FEVS available for employee input? The FEVS launched the week of June 6, and will close this Friday, July 22.
Need help finding your FEVS survey link? Search your HRSA Outlook inbox for a personalized survey link from Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey-HE (evhe@opm.gov) with the subject line “2022 OPM Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey.” If you cannot find it, check junk mail. If you have questions and/or still cannot locate the message, email OPM (evhe@opm.gov).
Have questions regarding FEVS survey confidentiality? Individual-level responses are not released to HHS, HRSA, or BPHC by OPM. All FEVS reports sent to HRSA consist of aggregated percentages only and survey results for work units with fewer than 10 employees are not released. Individual data cannot be obtained even if sorted by demographic factors within a work unit. Please view HHS’ FEVS infographic and video to learn exactly how your confidentiality is protected.
What does HRSA and BPHC do with the FEVS results? The results of the FEVS are used in several different ways. The Partnership for Public Service determines their list of “Best Places to Work" in Government using FEVS scores, senior leaders use FEVS results as performance indicators, and HRSA and BPHC leadership use FEVS input to inform improvement strategies and address concerns of importance to you.
How can I learn more about the FEVS? For more information; including a list of frequently asked questions, access to prior year survey results, and a list of FEVS Program Managers, please visit the HHS FEVS Intranet page or HRSA FEVS SharePoint page. For other FEVS questions, contact Naphatarra Pankey or Adam Robbins.
Thanks in advance for helping BPHC evolve via the FEVS! We appreciate your time and feedback.
