Health centers play a key role in ensuring our nation's underserved communities and those disproportionately affected by COVID-19 are equitably vaccinated against COVID-19. We appreciate your tremendous work to date!
As mentioned in the Digest this week, we would like to get a better understanding of health center plans for vaccinating children under 5 years old if a vaccine is authorized by FDA and recommended by CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices.
We have sent an email to the Project Director identified in HRSA’s Electronic Handbooks. This email came from BPHCAnswers@hrsa.gov and has subject line, “Your Health Center’s Plans: Vaccination Readiness for Children Under 5.”
The email contains a link to the request for information. Your Project Director, or a single representative from your health center, should click the link to enter your responses. Please DO NOT reply to the email—use the link to share your input.
Please share your answers by noon ET on Tuesday, February 8.
Your responses will help us understand how best to support you over the next few months. CDC is creating resources to plan for and support vaccinating children under 5 should a COVID-19 vaccine be authorized by FDA and recommended by CDC. BPHC will share those as they become available.
If you have questions about the HRSA Health Center COVID-19 Vaccine Program, please contact Health Center Program Support online. Select “Coronavirus Inquiries (COVID-19)” as the issue type—the third option on the “Health Center or EHBs Question” screen.
