We appreciate health centers and Rural Health Clinics (RHCs) mobilizing quickly to order and distribute at-home self-tests through the HRSA COVID-19 Testing Supply Program. All orders made by health centers and RHCs prior to the January 4 ordering deadline have been processed and shipped. Shipments of orders prior to January 4 that haven’t yet been received should be delivered soon. In light of the significant demand for at-home self-tests, we will be setting aside orders from the last cycle (including RHC orders processed on January 18) that have not already been shipped by the vendor to ensure equitable distribution of supply. Starting this Wednesday, January 26, we will reopen at-home self-test ordering with new organizational ordering caps for all enrolled health centers and RHCs.
New Orders HRSA will accept new orders on Wednesday, January 26, from all onboarded health centers and RHCs. Orders must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. your local time on Tuesday, February 1. We encourage health centers and RHCs who placed previous orders from the January 11 or 18 order deadlines to submit new orders if additional tests are needed. Organizational ordering caps will be provided in the Health Partner Order Portal (HPoP) based on the number of tests available through this program each week.

You will only be able to place an order for a single site. You may share tests among all sites, but they can only be ordered by and delivered to ONE site.

HRSA will communicate any updates to ordering deadlines for upcoming orders in advance of ordering deadlines via HPoP, the Health Center COVID-19 Online Community, and other regular program update channels, such as the Primary Health Care Digest newsletter, and Testing Supply Program Office Hours. While we expect supply volumes to change over time, up to 50 million at-home self-tests will still be available for health centers and RHCs through the HRSA COVID-19 Testing Supply Program.
We also continue to encourage health centers and RHCs to join the HRSA COVID-19 Testing Supply Program. Through it, you can order free, FDA-authorized COVID-19 at-home self-tests for distribution at no cost to your patients and communities. See a bulletin we sent earlier this month for information on how to join.
