CONGRATULATIONS to BPHC staff who reached a milestone service anniversary between October 1-December 31! You play an important role in helping BPHC achieve its mission. You help make BPHC the best place to work through your contributions, your dedication, and your support of fellow colleagues. Today we celebrate YOU!
Since launching this initiative, we have recognized 28 BPHC staff with milestone length of service anniversaries during this calendar year. We look forward to recognizing many more milestone length of service anniversaries next year!

Steve Huntington, Management Analyst, DWM "I remember my first day in the Parklawn Building on October 17, 1971, working for what is now called Program Support Center. At that time there was no HRSA and no Bureaus. The other agencies in the building were FDA, NIMH, and Indian Health Services. On each floor, the elevator doors were a different color: blue, light blue, green, orange, and yellow. When I first started working in BPHC in 1974 it was called Community Health Services. I have worked with many fine and good employees in this building from 1971 until now. If you add the numbers up, that’s a total of 50 years.”
Benito Velazquez, Project Officer, OHCIO “It has been an honor to support BPHC in fulfilling its superb mission. And it has been a privilege to work with the health centers that provide access to affordable, comprehensive, high quality primary health care services for people who are low-income or uninsured.”

We acknowledge BPHC employees’ federal length of service milestone anniversaries beginning with 10 years of service and every five additional years after that (15, 20, 25, 30, etc.). We publish the names in a quarterly bulletin like this one and announce them in a BPHC All-Hands webcast.
This is 100% voluntary—you may opt-out if you prefer.
This effort is separate from the length of service certificates that employees receive from HRSA.
If you have any questions about this initiative, please contact the BPHC Insider. If you have questions about your length of service anniversary, contact BPHC HR.
Congratulations again to everyone with milestone service anniversaries!
