On Tuesday, November 2, CDC recommended use of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for patients ages 5-11. See the CDC statement.
These recommendations align with and follow FDA's Emergency Use Authorization of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine in pediatric patients.
Below, we share related updates, resources, and opportunities to support administration of the Pfizer vaccine to pediatric patients.
For health centers in the Health Center COVID-19 Vaccine Program (Vaccine Program), please look for information about ordering pediatric doses in the Vaccine Program Online Community (VPC). Note: The VPC is accessible only for health centers participating in the Vaccine Program, Primary Care Associations, and National Training and Technical Assistance Partners.

Specifically, in the “Children (less than 18 years)” category for questions 23-25. See the User Guide for questions.
