Dear Colleagues,
In support of “Operation Allies Refuge” large numbers of individuals and their spouses and children who assisted the U.S. government in Afghanistan are being evacuated and brought to the United States. Given the role health centers play in providing comprehensive primary and preventive care for medically underserved populations on a sliding fee scale, we encourage you to consider how your organization may be able to assist this population and connect with the local refugee resettlement agency in your area to coordinate efforts.
