BPHC Bulletin: American Rescue Plan Act Funding Awarded to Health Centers

bphc health center program bulletin

Today, HRSA awarded more than $6 billion in American Rescue Plan Act funding to 1,376 HRSA-funded health centers nationwide. Health centers will be able to use the funds to support and expand COVID-19 vaccination, testing, and treatment for vulnerable populations; deliver needed preventive and primary health care services to those at higher risk for COVID-19; and expand health centers’ operational capacity during the pandemic and beyond, including modifying and improving physical infrastructure and adding mobile units.

Following today’s fiscal year 2021 American Rescue Plan Act (H8F) Funding for Health Centers award release, health centers will have 60 days to submit information about planned activities and costs to be supported by the funding. Award recipients should add their H8F grants to their HRSA Electronic Handbooks (EHBs) portfolio to view and complete the submission in EHBs.

Visit the H8F technical assistance page for the award submission guidance, information about upcoming question and answer sessions for recipients, and more.
