Coronavirus

Health centers are well-positioned to play an important role in delivering critical services and assisting local communities during the outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). We appreciate all you are doing to address the outbreak, particularly among the nation’s most vulnerable individuals and families.

We will send additional bulletins regularly as we have new information available.

Latest News

We continually update our Health Center Program COVID-19 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) webpage. Yesterday, we added these FAQs:

  • In event that providers or patients cannot present at, or work from, a health center site, can health centers use telehealth to provide services to a patient at a location that is not an in-scope service site? Can this also occur if the health center provider and patient are at their homes?
  • Can health centers reduce the delivery of some required or additional services (e.g., dental services, physical therapy)?
  • Can health centers conduct screenings or triage of patients outside of their service sites?
