including substance use. The model aims to reduce expenditures and improve care
quality for children (<21 years) covered by Medicaid and CHIP through

Conducting Mock Surveys for Risk Assessment: Infection Control and
Prevention HRSA works with The Joint
Commission to inform health center quality efforts. In this webinar, Joint
Commission expert, Joyce Webb, RN, MBA, Project Director, Division of
Healthcare Quality Evaluation, will discuss the mock tracer survey process and
the steps for conducting a successful mock survey in your health center. This
session will focus on infection control and prevention.
Thursday, September 6 12:30-2:00 p.m. ET Register here
The tracer methodology is
an integral part of the on-site accreditation survey process The Joint
Commission uses. A health center that understands tracers can use mock surveys
as a tool to assess its compliance with standards and make improvements needed
to maintain continuous compliance. Mock surveys can provide important
information and identify broader issues for improvement.
