NACHC-booth-513

Meet Us at the NACHC P&I Forum!
We look forward to seeing you at the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) Policy & Issues Forum in Washington, D.C. Please stop by the HRSA booth on Friday, March 16. We will offer live demonstrations of our Electronic Handbooks (EHBs) systems, and HRSA staff will be on hand to answer questions. You will find us in Exhibit Hall C, Booth 513, open from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Several HRSA leaders will be featured speakers at the Forum, and they will give updates on broad policy and quality developments. Dr. Judith Steinberg, BPHC’s Chief Medical Officer, will host a listening session with health center clinical leaders.

Progressive Action Conditions Library Available on Website
HRSA’s Health Center Program oversight responsibilities include ensuring that awardees and look-alikes are compliant with Health Center Program requirements.

When HRSA determines that a health center is not demonstrating compliance with the Health Center Program requirements, a condition(s) is placed on its Notice of Award or Look-alike Designation. HRSA oversees these conditions in accordance with its Progressive Action policy.

HRSA recently updated its library of conditions to align with the Health Center Program Compliance Manual. HRSA is now placing the updated conditions based on Operational Site Visit findings. Conditions applied based on the review of FY 2018 Service Area Competition or Renewal of Designation applications for the remainder of this fiscal year, FY 2018, will utilize the prior set of conditions.

The library provides guidance on the specific action(s) required to facilitate lifting of updated conditions as quickly as possible. Health centers with any active unresolved progressive action conditions will continue to follow the Progressive Action process and timeline. HRSA will lift unresolved conditions upon approval of a health center’s submission that demonstrates compliance.

As part of HRSA’s commitment to transparency of its oversight process, the updated library of conditions is now available on the Health Center Program’s website.

For more information on the Progressive Action process, please see the Health Center Program Compliance Manual, Chapter 2: Health Center Program Oversight.
