Last week, LaTanya Benson shared a tasty stir fry cooking demo, and we asked: What’s your favorite healthy snack, dish, or meal? Here are a few highlights:

Sliced English cucumbers: Slice a cucumber into discs or sticks, sprinkle with lemon pepper seasoning and drizzle with zesty Italian dressing.

Baked kale chips: Separate leafy kale greens from the stems, and tear into bite-sized pieces. Toss leaves to coat with olive oil and lay in a single layer on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt, and bake in a preheated 300-degree oven until the edges begin to brown but not burn, about 20 to 30 minutes. Enjoy!

Granola: In a large bowl, combine 3 cups of rolled oats with ¼ cup of coconut oil, ⅓ cup of maple syrup, and ½ teaspoon of cinnamon. Spread the mixture out on a cookie sheet, and bake at 300 for 20–25 minutes, until golden brown. Let cool.

Action Required: Enroll With GSA Auth by August 27th to Continue Using DocuSign
GSA IT has begun to roll out a new authentication process that is changing the way you will access GSA apps and resources in the future. The current authentication tool, SecureAuth, is being replaced with an improved security tool called GSA Auth. To maintain access to DocuSign, enroll in GSA Auth by August 27th. Applications migrating in September:
- InSite
- HR Links
- GSA IT Self-Service Portal (ServiceNow)
- Adobe
Follow the one-time enrollment steps on InSite to complete the process.

Don't Forget! The Career Planning and Training Tool is Here to Help
The CFO Council's (CFOC) Career Planning and Training Tool has recently undergone a revision to its functionality to make it easier to identify courses that align with the CFOC’s core competencies for the financial management job series (501, 510, 511 and 565). You can start using the tool by clicking on the job series and GS-level filters. Career guidance in the form of virtual cards will display in the center of the screen and below.
Each virtual card will include information about a competency, including a general description, relevant behaviors, and proficiency levels. The cards will also contain embedded links to vendor courses that will help you master aspects of each competency. The partner vendors offer a wide array of course types and learning modalities, including on-line, on-site, hybrid, micro-learning, cohort style, and many more. These courses are available for purchase via government purchase card (note - purchases on government purchase cards are limited to $10,000; most courses are significantly less than that).
Try it today and give your professional development a boost!
