The 2023 Feds Feed Families Summer Campaign is in Full Swing
The annual Feds Feed Families (FFF) campaign encourages employees from all federal departments and agencies to give in-kind contributions — food, services, and time — to food banks and pantries. Since its inception, GSA employees have graciously donated more than two million pounds of food.
GSA's participation in Feds Feed Families is critical during these challenging summer months, when food pantries traditionally see a decrease in donations and increase in need, and nearly 30 million children who receive free and reduced-price meals during the school year find themselves with limited support. Do you want to help the cause? GSA is looking for FFF champion volunteers to serve as sources of inspiration, motivate their colleagues to voluntarily participate, and help organize virtual and in-person events.
If you are interested in becoming a GSA champion, please fill out this short Google Form.
To learn more about other ways you can get involved, visit the FFF hub and check out the FFF events page.

Shout out to Josh Grannan (BR2F)!
Shout out to Josh Grannan in Zone 2 for helping a new employee in Zone 3. Josh held a special training session and took time out of his busy schedule to answer questions. His actions helped his Zone 3 counterparts and is a great example of how Josh is a team player even outside of his zone. Thank you, Josh!

Shout out to Blaire Belle (BGF)!
Shout out to Blaire for being instrumental in identifying two issues that presented themselves due to more serious underlying problems:
- Bills not being summarized in Pegasys due to mapping crosswalks that disappeared in Pegasys for 3 different ASSIST programs.
- FEDSIM transmissions getting stuck in process which ended up impacting all ASSIST programs and required an ASSIST helpdesk solution.
Kudos for identifying the issues, following your instincts, and bringing the issues to BGF management!!! Keep up the excellent oversight!
Submitted by: Lauren Franklin (BGF)
Shout out to Derek Blanchard (BGF)!
Shout out to Derek for creating a more streamlined way to communicate with PFS on posting vendor refunds in Pegasys. The Google document was created, tested with BGF and PFS, deemed successful and easy to use, and finally implemented. It has been in use for a couple months now and has helped increase collaboration and reduce refund reversals.
