New! A President's Day Reminder
This year President's Day (Washington’s Birthday) will be celebrated on Monday, February 20, 2023, and all GSA offices will be closed.
Some full-time employees may not be scheduled to work on Monday, the calendar holiday. If you are in this group, you are eligible for an “in-lieu-of holiday.” The in-lieu-of holiday will be the last workday immediately preceding February 20th. For most employees, the in-lieu-of holiday will be observed on the preceding Friday, February 17, 2022.

Mandatory 2023 Refresher Training Available
To access your courses and view due dates, go to your GSA Online University transcript and launch the GSA 2023 Mandatory Refresher Training for Employees curriculum.
- Employees who joined GSA in 2022 or earlier are required to complete the assigned 2023 courses by the specified due dates. Up first: IT security and privacy awareness training, which is due on March 10.
- New employees/SES/contractors joining GSA in 2023 will receive different mandatory training curriculums with different due dates.

February Article Club: Belonging in the Workplace
The OCFO Article Club will be meeting on Wednesday, February 22 at noon Eastern. This month's discussion will focus on the importance of and how to foster belonging in the workplace, which is made more difficult by remote work. The articles guiding this month's conversation are The Value of Belonging at Work and Creating a Culture of Belonging.
If the event isn't on your calendar, you can join by Google Meet on February 22 at noon Eastern.

Shout out to the team for making adjustments and adapting to the Funds Request Report error when it did not load correctly. Erik Ebinger created filter views on the Google Sheet for FEDSIM, National, West, and East team for the temporary Funds Request Report. Thank you, everyone, for stepping up to help each other.

Reminder! Event Tracker Training Next Tuesday
The Office of Administrative Services will conduct Event Tracker training February 21 at 1 p.m., Eastern. Event Tracker provides an easy, streamlined way to submit, approve and document events and conference attendance requests. Training is open to all GSA employees and includes a brief presentation and walk-through of the application, followed by a question and answer period. Topics include creating event, attendance and routing requests. Add the training to your Google calendar.
