VPN Replacement coming your way Tuesday!

GSA IT Alert

Go to InSite to Enable
Zscaler Private Access

GSA IT is rolling out our Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) - the replacement for Cisco AnyConnect VPN. On Tuesday, at 2 p.m. ET, ZPA will be enabled for you.

📢 What this means:

  • You will no longer need VPN to access GSA internal resources, such as HR Links, InSite and more.
  • After you authenticate ZPA, you can stop connecting to VPN entirely - ZPA will automatically run in the background.
  • Note: You can use SecureAuth to access Cisco Jabber via Multi-Factor Authentication.

✅ What you have to do:

  • At 2 p.m. ET on Tuesday, follow the InSite instructions to authenticate ZPA.
  • Enjoy your new VPN-free experience!

If you don't follow the InSite instructions to authenticate ZPA, you might experience issues connecting to internal GSA websites and applications.

Before you begin:

  • The easiest and fastest way to authenticate is to first connect to VPN, and then authenticate ZPA.
    • You can use VPN to authenticate ZPA, but you won’t need VPN after authenticating.
  • If you are not connected to VPN, you'll be prompted for MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) via SecureAuth to authenticate ZPA.
