Shout Out to Veronica Butler, Hilary Busbee, Grace Jeon, Dan Icitovic, Sophie Rybacki, and Will Spelker (all BIC)!
This shout out goes to those BIC team members that work hard everyday to support GSA customers. Here is just a small sampling of what they have achieved in the past year:
- Responded to and resolved approximately 1,000 user coding and template requests through the SSO Code Request mailbox.
- Supported 500 operations and maintenance requests related to business intelligence (BI) applications (Business Objects and PBS BI).
- Implemented 400 solutions (new development or significant enhancements) within OCFO BI tools saving over 3,000 productivity hours and reducing many more stress hours.
- Effectively maintained OCFO and GSA.gov websites to ensure accuracy of information while also incorporating new or enhanced sites such as G-Invoicing and Audits and Accountability. FY 2022 generated over 30,000 OCFO pageviews on Insite alone.
- Offered a dozen training courses in financial data, systems, and reporting with 850 in total attendance.
This is just a glimpse into some of the amazing things this group accomplished while also spearheading or supporting many key OCFO initiatives (vendor clean-up, ASSIST upgrades/migration, CALM implementation, report inventory cleanup, and many others).
Kudos to Veronica, Hilary, Grace, Dan, Sophie, and Will for all your hard work that enables others to research transactions, generate agency financial reports, produce insightful analysis, and create process-efficient bots. I look forward to seeing what you do for an encore in FY 2023.
