Poll Results: Back to School!

Last week, we asked you what you liked most about back-to-school time. The results are in and — no surprise — shopping for new clothes and shoes took the top spot, getting 37% of your votes. New school supplies came in second with 22% of the vote. Rounding out the top three is the "other" category, which includes meeting new teachers, getting back into a routine, and starting a new grade.

Thanks so much for participating in the Week in Review poll. To share ideas for future polls, send us an email. Check back next week for another one!

Shout out to Tanisha Nicholson (BA)!

Tanisha provided me assistance in submitting GAO final report audits with no recommendations for closure using the Internal Control Tracking System (ICATS). She outlined the process clearly, enabling me to successfully submit two of these audits types for closure and approval. I truly appreciate her expertise and collaboration of the process for closures in an efficient, professional manner.

Shout out to Corina Lucero (CSDE1)!

Thank you to our ELP-er, Corina Lucero, for her contributions to the RPA Community of Practice! She did a great job helping to coordinate events, publish our first ever newsletter, up our responses to the federal RPA maturity survey, and keep the community informed and connected. Kudos and thank you, Corina!

Trainings & Resources

Update: Business Objects — Did You Know

This was Jeopardy? Thanks to everyone who attended the Business Objects — Did You Know session held on August 18. Using the Jeopardy board, participants were guided through a series of questions and answers that were key Business Objects concepts. Each concept was then demonstrated to the class. At the end of the class, participants were asked to help shape future OCFO business intelligence training by answering a few multiple-choice polling questions. Nearly 200 attended the event.

For those of you who were not able to attend, did not receive the link, or for those who wanted a refresh, we are sharing the following:

  • Course recording – you will find this course in the OCFO Training and Resource Library (be sure to check out other offerings while you are there).
  • Future Training Survey – those in attendance were able to complete the 5-question poll during the event, but for those unable to attend, we would love to capture your feedback as well. This will help us shape what courses we offer in FY 2022 and the format of those offerings.
  • Training Evaluation – How did we do? We would appreciate your feedback on the course and the material to help us improve future sessions. Be sure to select Business Objects – Did You Know from the list of courses.

Stay tuned as we review your feedback and establish a calendar of training events for FY 2022. See you then.
