New Savings & Better Services
GSA recently launched its OneGov Strategy to modernize how the federal government buys goods and services while aligning with President Trump’s Executive Order to prioritize cost-effective, commercial solutions.
Our travel programs are proving how shared services and governmentwide contracts can drive smarter spending, modern tools, and greater value. Read our three new press releases for more details.
-
Rideshare Program press release: Under OneGov, GSA secured better rates and expanded benefits through the new Uber Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) - unlocking more value for federal employees, military, and federal contractors.
-
City Pair Program (CPP) press release: A OneGov success story since 1980, CPP continues to leverage centralized purchasing power. The newly awarded FY26 routes deliver reduced rates and bigger savings on key government travel routes.
-
GO.gov press release: This is the new name for GSA’s centralized travel and expense service. As the first shared service to manage an entire business function governmentwide, GO.gov brings modern, commercial tools to government travel like never before.

City Pair Program: Book FY26 fares now, and read our City Pair best practices on the Gateway. Starting in FY26, Southwest baggage fees will apply (waived for active-duty military). Southwest is also making the necessary changes for government travelers to select seats within their booking tools. For flights after 1/26/26, to get a seat assignment go to Southwest.com after ticketing. Government travelers can now see and book Breeze CPP flights for agencies that use Worldspan or Amadeus GDS. Contact your TMC to ensure you get Breeze's Non Stop Service to meet your mission.
Rideshare: We renegotiated our partnership with Uber Technologies, Inc. Federal travelers can now access even steeper discounts on rideshare services. Sign up with Uber to access these savings.
FedRooms: Review the FedRooms Best Practices to make travel smooth and maximize benefits. Contact jennifer.miller@gsa.gov to review your agency’s TDY Lodging scorecard.
Long Term Lodging: Have questions about Long Term Lodging (LTL)? Contact Trevor Edwards at trevor.edwards@gsa.gov and visit the Long Term Lodging website.
Emergency Lodging: Have questions about Emergency Lodging Services (ELS)? Contact Marcus Witowski at marcus.witowski@gsa.gov and visit the Emergency Lodging Service website.
