Subaward Reporting Now Available in SAM.gov
GSA, General Services Administration (External) sent this bulletin at 03/12/2025 10:02 AM EDT
The General Services Administration has made available all new subaward reporting capabilities in SAM.gov. Users who try to access FSRS.gov will be redirected to SAM.gov. These changes enable users also to view subaward information in SAM.gov.
Those who report subaward data and executive compensation data as required by the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act (FFATA) will now do so in SAM.gov. In order to access the new subaward reporting capabilities in SAM.gov, users will need to:
-
Have a SAM.gov account or create an account if they don’t already have one, and
-
Obtain the correct role in SAM.gov from their SAM.gov entity administrator
Since the change on March 8, at least 1,750 records have been created in SAM.gov using the new subaward capabilities in the system.
GSA’s Integrated Award Environment has a variety of resources available to help users navigate the changes:
-
Recordings of live training sessions, including the most recent how-to session from March 5 and a session specifically for bulk upload users. All training recordings are available on the IAE Playlist on GSA YouTube.
-
How-to instructional videos that walk users step-by-step through the new subaward reporting process on SAM.gov. These videos also are available on the IAE Playlist on GSA YouTube.
-
Knowledge articles that provide step-by-step instructions on how to navigate the new subaward reporting capabilities in SAM.gov. The knowledge articles are available by searching by topic at SAM.gov’s helpdesk - the Federal Service Desk (at FSD.gov).
-
