Customer Approval Reconfiguration is LIVE!
We are happy to announce the Customer Approval Reconfiguration is live, and all agency-provided users for the Non-Approver role have been added to the system. All OAs that were previously in “Customer Review” status before the relaunch will appear back in your “OAs Needing Approval” query by the end of the week.
To assist system users with understanding and navigating the new approval workflow process, we have provided several documents and training materials. These items are linked below and are always available on the PBS OASIS External Site.
To ensure optimal login and system operations please clear your internet cache before logging into OASIS again.
Customer Approval Reconfiguration: Live Training
All Ordering Officials, Non-Approvers, and CIAOs should have received an invitation to register for live training on the new reconfiguration (invitations sent on Monday, June 3).
System users can choose from one of two identical Live Training Sessions:
June 13: 10:30 - 12:00 ET
June 18: 2:00 - 3:30 ET
Training are conducted via Zoom for Government. A confirmation link will be sent to users after registration.
The training will include technical demonstrations on the Ordering Official and Non-Approval capabilities for navigating their Portal, reviewing and approving OAs, and submitting billing questions. There will be opportunities throughout the training to submit questions on the process and receive live answers.
One session will be recorded and posted on the OASIS External Site for those unable to attend either time.
Customer Approval Reconfiguration: Highlights
The range of OASIS improvements will be covered in detail during the live trainings sessions. Among some of the highlights:
Action Items are Gone. All OAs for review will now appear in your OAs Needing Approval Query, which will not have a numerical tracker.
Accepting or Reassigning Reviews are Gone. All OAs for your agency’s review will appear in the OAs Needing Approval Query. Every user of your AB Code will be able to see them here while under review. (At training we’ll cover ways to coordinate your internal review to avoid duplicating reviews.)
Requesting Clarification: Two new queries to track the status of your Requests for Clarification. The Pending Clarification Query displays those with GSA and Request Clarification-Completed displays those back from GSA.
OA Approvals under the OA Record Notification Tab: This has been greatly simplified. The Notification tab will now show only the name of the person who approved/rejected the OA. The historical approvals can be found at the bottom of this screen under Archived Review
OA Summary Report: A few changes to improve readability and adding a Pending End Date and Status field to the payment lines.

Customer User Roles
GSA requested user role updates from all agencies to support the Non-Approver role change. Those changes were loaded in the system and are available now. Any new users or role changes received after June 5 will need to complete the Customer Access Request Form. The form must be signed by your supervisor and your agency CIAO. Please email pbsoasisaccounts@gsa.gov if you need contact information for your CIAO.
