Welcome to the OASIS Bulletin!
We are pleased to debut the OASIS Customer Bulletin. This bi-weekly newsletter was developed to keep OASIS users, including Ordering Officials and CIAOs, informed of system updates, best practices in navigating and using the system, and general system announcements.
You can submit suggested topics to pbsoasis@gsa.gov and we will work them into future content.
System Update News
In order to address known system issues and make enhancements, OASIS is on a “rapid release” schedule, with new system updates published every two weeks. These updates will address both internal (GSA-facing) and external (customer-facing) areas of the system. Each OASIS Customer Bulletin will detail recent system changes and a copy of the Customer Specific Release notes.
Release 1.011 (March 27) and Release 1.013 (April 10) included several items to help the OASIS team address the “stuck OA” issue in addition to several customer specific items:
Added queries onto the Customer Portal showing OAs that are pending approval, were returned to GSA, or were sent for clarification.
Added edit checks to the Customer Billing Question and Release of Space action items that verify all required information is included. This will prevent requests from getting lost.
Removed the counts from several portal items to avoid confusion and duplication.
Note: A later release will correct the duplicate action items, notifications, etc.
Removed the Ordering Official Editor feature that was not functioning properly.
Corrected the Customer Portal Notifications. Users can now view the notifications directly by clicking on the link.
GSA IT security requires OASIS users to log into the system every 90 days to maintain their account. If a user does not log into OASIS within 90 days, that account will become inactive and the user will receive this error message when trying to log on:
"Cannot sign into IBM TRIRIGA as you do not have a valid user."
To ensure this doesn’t happen, we recommend setting a reminder to log in every 80 days. If you find your account has been deactivated, please email pbsOASISaccounts@gsa.gov and request to be reactivated. If you’ve been approved for access within the past year, your account will be reactivated
