Drinking Water Quality Management
Who: Building Managers, Contracting Officers, Contracting Officer Representatives, Industrial Hygienists, SME’s, anyone working with O&M contracts/contractors and all interested.
What: In November OFM and OAM conducted 12 training sessions on Drinking Water Quality Management (DWQM) in our owned facilities. Here is a link to a recording of one of those sessions and the slide deck. You can also reference the new Drinking Water Quality Management resources page that has been added under the Policy section of OAM’s National Acquisition Resource Center (NARC). The new section includes guidance, training, and reference documents.
As indicated during the DWQM training sessions, we have established Open Office Hours as a forum for live Q&A in regard to all things DWQM-related. SME's from OAM and OFM's Facility Operations and Risk Management Divisions will be in attendance to answer your questions. The upcoming session scheduled for Thursday 1/11/24 will be a special deep dive into the operational guidance on water modifications which will also be recorded. All are highly encouraged to attend. In addition, we have added two more standard sessions in January. Please click on the links below to add to your calendar. Hope to see you there!
Lastly, thank you for your patience as we work to provide answers to the questions you posed in the PBS Drinking Water Quality Management - Questions sheet. We are actively providing those answers. Some do require vetting by OGC, OSC and other business lines but we have started adding approved responses this week. In the meantime, we'll do our best to capture your questions during the Office Hour sessions and ask that you continue to populate.
