DFC Newsletter Spring/Summer 2022
GSA, General Services Administration (External) sent this bulletin at 05/25/2022 04:50 PM EDT
Dear Email Address,
The DFC campus may seem quieter these days, but many campus amenities are reopening and projects are moving forward. Whether you are working in the office or at home, this edition of our community newsletter will keep you informed.
Most importantly, please know GSA is always here. Our property management team continues to do an excellent job responding to customer incidents and inquiries.
If you are not already following the DFC Facebook page, you can click here. We will continue to provide important updates there.
Next Monday will be Memorial Day. Normally this is a day off, a time to enjoy the start of summer with cookouts and fun or spending time with family. But the reason for the holiday is often forgotten or overlooked.
Instead of a formal event, we have decided to provide a perspective of what Memorial Day means through several active duty members from Buckley Air Force Base out of Aurora, CO. who came to the Denver Federal Center to share their thoughts and stories.
Please take the time to view this powerful video on Memorial Day and the story these active duty service members shared.
The DFC’s Bicentennial Park is available for use! (Click the link above for more information.)

GSA Administrator Visits the DFC
On April 13, Administrator Robin Carnahan joined (from left to right) National Climate Advisor Gina McCarthy, Mayor Adam Paul, U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter, Gov. Jared Polis and GSA Regional Chief Architect and Capital Project Manager Jason Sielcken for a tour of the Denver Federal Center. “The Denver Federal Center demonstrates how investing in sustainability is a triple win – creating good-paying clean energy jobs, reducing energy costs, and tackling climate change to ensure a healthier future for the next generation,” said Administrator Carnahan. “The federal government wants to lead by example by leveraging our scale and buying power to help drive these efforts.”
