Update 2: Extension of CHAMP Rate Offers

As provided via notice on September 14, 2017, current CHAMP rate offers have been extended through December 31, 2017. 

Within the same notice, the 2017-2018 Request for Offers (RFO) and GSA's Domestic 500A-2017 Tariff were cited to be distributed on or after September 18, 2017. 

At this time, the 2017-2018 RFO will be distributed the week of September 25, 2017.  The rate filing window dates have not yet been established and will be identified in the RFO. 

As a special note, GSA encourages each CHAMP TSP to review the Cover Letter of the RFO once it becomes available, for any changes taking effect January 1, 2018.  Some of the notable changes are listed below:

•  The USPS will be soliciting rates under CHAMP.  See Section 3 on additional specifics for this agency.

•  GSA's IFF will be increasing to 3.5%, effective with rates filed during this upcoming filing window.  The 3.5% will apply to household goods shipments, both domestic and international; all POV shipments; and all SIT shipments.  Please incorporate the additional IFF into the rates filed during the upcoming opening window.

•  The IFF for XTOS shipments will also be increased to 3.5% effective this rate filing cycle.

 

Additionally, updates to the HTOS have been completed.  This revised document will be available for viewing on the Acquisition Gateway soon.
