The selectee would serve as a Deputy Director in the Office of Mission Assurance (OMA), and reports directly to the Director of Operations. The selectee would perform work in all types of emergency management work to include - Continuity of Operations (COOP), participation in disaster response and recovery efforts and security programs. This position is located in the Office of Mission Assurance (OMA). OMA serves as the agency-wide lead for continuity of operations in government; disaster policy, planning, support, and operational coordination; and special security programs. In this role, OMA integrates the full suite of agency authorities, capabilities and equities to enact and guide the development of structured programs ensuring the resiliency of GSA's mission essential functions.
