Effective immediately, the S.D. Mississippi bankruptcy court will no longer set a show-cause hearing if a debtor fails to timely make an installment payment based on the deadline specified in the court order approving the application.

The court will dismiss the case immediately without further notice or hearing.

Debtor’s counsel should inform clients that a late or missed installment payment will result in immediate case dismissal.
