Issue: Pending Amendments to Federal Bankruptcy Rules and New Official Forms

Rule Amendments:

Amendments to Federal Bankruptcy Rules 3002.1 and 8006 will become effective December 1, 2025. You can find detailed information about these amendments on the United States Courts website www.uscourts.gov.

New Official Forms and Docket Events:

To conform with the amendments to Rule 3002.1(f) and (g), six new official forms will be required for all Chapter 13 cases starting December 1, 2025. Details about the new forms and docket events are available on the court's website at www.mssb.uscourts.gov. 

Amended Official Form

The amendments to Official Form 410S1, (Notice of Mortgage Payment Change), has added a space for an annual HELOC notice. For more information on these changes, visit the United States Courts website at www.uscourts.gov.
