S.D. Miss Bankr: Invitation for Public Comment – N.D. and S.D. Proposed Amendments to Uniform Local Bankruptcy Rules

The United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi propose to adopt amendments to the Uniform Local Bankruptcy Rules to become effective December 1, 2024.

The public comment period is October 25, 2024 - November 22, 2024.

The Invitation for Public Comment and a summary of the substantive proposed amendments are attached.  There are several non-substantive amendments related to the restyling of the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure to become effective December 1, 2024.  The full text of the proposed amendments may be found on the Court's website at www.mssb.uscourts.gov.
