New Improvements to BankFind Suite!
The FDIC is pleased to announce that we will be adding the Summary of Deposits (SOD) to BankFind Suite, a public resource for consumers, researchers, and analysts to understand financial details and trends among FDIC-insured banks, available on the FDIC’s public website.
The modernized SOD site in Bankfind is available to preview now. When the modernized site is completed by the end of 2024, the legacy Summary of Deposits application will be discontinued and users will be automatically redirected to BankFind Suite.
 The annual SOD survey provides information about deposits in the U.S. banking system. Using Summary Tables, geographical Market Share Reports, and Branch Office Deposits data, users can get listings of branch offices of FDIC-insured banks and their deposits and see how those deposits have changed over time.
We believe these improvements will enhance users’ ability to access and use the FDIC’s public bank data. We welcome your comments and suggestions.
