The National Rates and Rate Caps webpage includes information regarding the FDIC’s methodology for calculating the national rate, national rate cap, and the local market rate cap for banks that are less than well capitalized under Section 337.7 of the FDIC’s Rule and Regulations that was effective April 1, 2021. This includes the rate caps for various deposit products applicable to less than well capitalized institutions that are posted on the third Monday of each month.
