FDIC to Participate in the White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities Increasing Impact

On Wednesday, March 8th at 1:00 p.m. ET, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Chairman Martin Gruenberg and FDIC's Deputy to the Chairman for External Affairs and Director, Office of Minority and Women Inclusion, Nikita Pearson will participate in a webinar hosted by the White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities. This event is part of a series of webinars designed to support economic and community development within HBCU communities.

Join us to learn about new resources to support HBCU communities and hear from speakers across the Federal government as they share insights about effective economic development strategies that can benefit these institutions of higher learning. During a fireside chat with Nikita Pearson, Kimberly Ballard, Esq., President of Savannah State University, will discuss her institution’s economic development strategies and how they can work for other institutions.
