FDIC to Convene Meeting of its Advisory Committee of
State Regulators

On Monday, October 24, at 2:00 p.m. ET, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Acting Chairman Martin J. Gruenberg will host a meeting of the FDIC’s Advisory Committee of State Regulators. Committee members will discuss and receive updates on a range of policy issues regarding the regulation of state-chartered financial institutions throughout the U.S. and its territories.
The meeting’s agenda includes a discussion of banking conditions; a dialogue regarding state and federal coordination; a briefing on the amended Deposit Insurance Fund restoration plan and deposit insurance assessments; and an update on minority and community development banking.
