Yesterday afternoon, Chairman McWilliams appeared on CNBC’s Closing Bell to launch the Mission-Driven Bank Fund, a capital investment vehicle to support Minority Depository Institutions (MDIs) and Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs). Chairman McWilliams announced the Fund’s anchor investors, Microsoft and Truist Financial Corp., along with founding investor, Discovery Inc., which have committed a combined $120 million to assist mission-driven institutions and the communities they serve.
