Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Chairman Jelena McWilliams today released the following statement.
“I would like to thank Comptroller Joseph Otting for his service on the FDIC Board of Directors. The FDIC greatly benefitted from his high standards, real world expertise, and operational excellence. I am personally grateful for his friendship. Joseph welcomed me to the FDIC Board with open arms and willingness to collaborate. For the past two years, I have always found him to be true to his word, honest and engaged. Joseph embodies a rare combination of candor and integrity that will be greatly missed. I wish him my best.”
