What: Money
Smart for Small Business (MSSB) provides a practical
introduction to topics related to starting and managing a business. Developed
jointly by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the U.S. Small
Business Administration, this instructor-led curriculum consists of 13 modules
available in English and Spanish that can be downloaded by anyone. There
are no requirements to use MSSB, however organizations are encouraged to join
the Money
Smart Alliance.
Why: At
this meeting you will hear details about a rural program by a Community Action
Agency. The purpose of this meeting is:
- Further your understanding
of the MSSB Curriculum and connect it with your mission and strategic
objectives
- Learn how others customize
the MSSB modules to meet the needs of their unique entrepreneur audiences
- Ask questions and share
experiences about the adoption and implementation of MSSB
