FDIC Makes Public March Enforcement Actions;

One Administrative Hearing Scheduled for May 2016

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Today Released a List of Orders of Administrative Enforcement Actions Taken Against Banks and Individuals in March. No Administrative Hearings are Scheduled for May 2016.

The FDIC issued a total of 26 orders, including one issued in February, and one notice. The administrative enforcement actions in those orders consisted of one consent order; one prompt corrective action; one removal and prohibition order; 11 Section 19 orders; two civil money penalties; two voluntary terminations of insurance; seven terminations of consent orders and cease and desist orders; one adjudicated decision; and one notice.
