The Chief Acquisition Officers Council is seeking nominations for the 2024 Acquisition, Program Management, Small Business and Procurement Equity, and Sustainable Acquisition Excellence Awards to recognize acquisition professionals who contribute to outstanding improvements in acquisition through Better Contracting Initiative strategies or other notable efforts. Nominations are being solicited for federal employees engaged in team or individual activities that led to excellent results in various acquisition areas in fiscal year 2023. Sign Up for OASIS Delegation of Procurement Authority Training Today
Sign up now for GSA's Office of Professional Services and Human Capital Categories' OASIS Delegation of Procurement Authority training on May 23, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. E.T. This training grants contracting officers access to the OASIS Unrestricted and OASIS Small Business contract vehicles, providing guidance on task order issuance best practices. A single DPA will be issued for both OASIS and OASIS SB. Warranted contracting officers (appointed under FAR 1.603) can request a DPA for direct access to Governmentwide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs), ensuring clear delineation of roles and responsibilities. DPA requestors with .gov or .mil email addresses can directly request the DPA, while those without must submit their federal contracting officer warrant to oasisdpa@gsa.gov for review. Mark Your Calendar for the first OASIS+ Delegation of Procurement Authority Training
The OASIS+ program is a governmentwide contract designed to meet agencies' service needs. Register now for GSA's Office of Professional Services and Human Capital Categories' first OASIS+ Delegation of Procurement (DPA) training on May 29, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. E.T. DPA training provides access to OASIS+ contracts and teaches task order best practices. It clarifies roles between GSA and ordering contracting officers, complying with OMB's designation to GSA. Warranted OCOs must have a DPA to issue task orders under OASIS+. Only OCOs are eligible for an OASIS+ DPA. All staff posting OASIS+ solicitations must undergo DPA training. Attendees will earn 1.5 CLPs.
