Fiscal Year 2024 Courses are Coming!
FAI's fiscal year 2024 FAC-C, FAC-COR, credential, and continuous learning virtual instructor-led training will be available in September 2023. As soon as the training sessions become available, FAI will notify the workforce, and they will also be listed on FAI.gov. Seats will be first come, first serve, and, as always, there will be no tuition cost to students or their agencies.

FAI CSOD Tip: How to Get Notified When New Training Sessions are Available
Are there courses you need or know you want to take in fiscal year 2024? We encourage you to use the “Indicate Interest in a Future Session” feature in FAI CSOD. By using this feature, you will receive an immediate notification from FAI CSOD that a new session is available. To use this feature, follow the steps outlined on pages 51 and 52 of the Federal Employee Task Aid.

FAI Student Training Guidebook
An excellent resource is now available to all civilian acquisition professionals: the FAI Student Training Guidebook! The guidebook contains a series of expectations, policies, guidance and more for individuals who participate in Federal Acquisition Certification training and FAI-provided (virtual) instructor-led training. It ensures that all parties are fully aware of FAI's policies and expectations for their training. We recommend that you read the guidebook and keep it close at hand. It has been developed by a variety of acquisition subject matter specialists and reviewed by a number of acquisition career managers from a variety of agencies in order to support acquisition workforce excellence.

He has over 15 years of experience in acquisitions and training in the private sector, state government, and federal government, and will be supporting FAI's learning and development team. GSA's Integrated Workplace Acquisition Team Connects at the Modern Day Marine Expo
GSA's integrated workplace acquisition business development and contracting officers teamed up to attend the 43rd annual Modern Day Marine event in Washington, D.C. GSA and Marine Corps Systems Command acquisitions specialists connected to explore ways to support the Marine Corps' additive manufacturing/3D printing needs. The integrated workforce acquisition center team also aligned with current schedule holders to ensure the latest products are added to their GSA catalog. 8(a) Programs: Meeting Your Small Business Goals Through GSA MACs
Small businesses play a critical role in providing professional services to federal agencies and help promote diversity, competition and innovation. Earn Your FAC-C-DS via the DITAP Program!
A FAC-C-Digital Services (DS) is required prior to being assigned requirements for digital services acquisitions over $7.5 million (or $15 million for acquisitions described in FAR Part 13.500(c)). Legacy FAC-C Level II or III holders, and FAC-C (Professional) holders with at least two years of experience can earn a FAC-C-DS and CLPs via the Digital IT Acquisition Professional (DITAP) program. Additionally, Level II or III FAC-COR and FAC-P/PM holders can earn a “Completion Certificate” and CLPs through successful completion of the DITAP Program.
There are several vendors who provide the training: CivicActions, EAGLES, Skylight, Graduate School USA, Management Concepts and ICF.
