Explore Innovation in Procurements and Develop an Innovation Mindset—FAC 098—Now Available!
This new online course will help you recognize cultural barriers to innovation and determine ways to address them. Also, you will identify authoritative sources that empower and/or encourage acquisition innovation and leverage resources and tools that support the use of innovative practices and technologies by acquisition teams. Register for this new online course in FAI CSOD and earn 1.5 CLPs.

2023 DAU Acquisition Update
Registration is now open for the 2023 DAU Acquisition Update. This two-day event is open to government civilians, military, contractors and industry workforces. View the event schedule and session descriptions for a detailed overview of the event. Attendees will be eligible to earn CLPs for participation. The post event survey must be completed to receive a participation certificate with those CLPs. New PILCast Shares Optional Evaluation Criteria
Have you ever thought, "Wouldn't it to be great if I could include this as an optional factor?" Well, now you can! Watch PILCast episode 27 to learn how you can include oral presentations, product demonstrations or others as an optional evaluation factor within your solicitation. Optional evaluation factors have been used by several procurement teams and provide the flexibility to receive additional information from offerors if there isn't enough differentiation within the evaluation. Course Update - FAC 076 Establishing Line Items in Contracts and Orders
FAI's online training course, FAC 076 Establishing Line Items in Contracts and Orders, has recently been updated and refreshed. In this course, you will learn how to structure line items on contracts and orders, and when applicable exceptions apply. Correctly formulated line items result in improved access to reliable and comprehensive data on federal procurement actions.

FAC 096 - Equity in Procurement Training!
In June 2021 the President committed to increase Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB) contract dollars to 15% by 2025. FAI created three micro-learning videos with interagency experts. FAC 096: Equity in Procurement highlights Executive Orders 13985, 14035 and Office of Management and Budget Memos 22-03 and Strategies for Meeting and Exceeding SDB of 11% for FY 2022. This series of videos describes tools, programs and resources the acquisition community can use to increase spending to 11% by FY 2022 and 15% to SDBs by FY 2025. Register here and earn .5 CLPs after completing the post-assessment.
