The Chief Acquisition Officers Council is accepting nominations for the Acquisition, Program Management and Small Business Excellence Awards until June 30, 2022. These awards recognize acquisition professionals who have contributed to improvements in acquisition, particularly for efforts responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. Made in America Office is Seeking Detailees!
The Made in America Office (MIAO) seeks enthusiastic agency volunteers to serve as temporary, part-time waiver review team detailees. Detailees will receive insight into the Office of Management and Budget's review process by submitting real-time input to the MIAO. Duties may include: reviewing proposed waivers; interaction with agency contracting employees to obtain data; analyzing agency and grantee purchases; and providing technological solutions for the waiver review process. The MIAO seeks detail-oriented professionals (GS-9 and above) with two years of pre-award experience who can interpret procurement policy and communicate well orally and in writing. The data illustrated in the tables and charts contained within the workbook is sourced directly from the Office of Personnel Management’s FedScope database.
