Final Reminder: Activate Your Okta Account
If you have already activated your Okta Account to access FAI CSOD, thank you for doing so. If you have not activated your Okta Account and logged into FAITAS after November 2020, you received multiple reminder emails from the Defense Acquisition University (DAU); one was sent at the start of August. The reminder email has a button to “Activate Okta Account.” If you do not activate your account by the end of August, you will be locked out of FAI CSOD and you will need to complete the DAU System Access Authorization Request (SAAR) form. Save yourself the extra work and activate your account today!

LEAP Program Accepting Applications for Fall 2021
The Partnership for Public Service is currently accepting applications for the Fall Leadership Excellence for Acquisition Professionals program (LEAP). LEAP, designed for GS-12 to GS-14 federal employees, helps professionals become more effective leaders by focusing on the four core tenets of the Partnership’s Public Service Leadership Model: self-awareness, engaging others, leading change, and achieving results. FQN 076 Critical Decision Making-Capstone teaches acquisition professionals how to synthesize lessons from the prerequisite courses FAC 072, 073, 074, and 075 and how to apply the Program Management Improvement Accountability Act (PMIAA) to the acquisition environment. Updated Course Now Available!
FAC 022 Combating Trafficking in Persons course has been updated and is available on FAI CSOD. This 2 CLP course explains the issues related to trafficking in persons in Government contracting and provides information about the legislation, regulations, and prohibitions in place to combat the practice. Gain an understanding of the specific roles and responsibilities of contracting professionals (and contractors) in monitoring contractor compliance.

Earn Your FAC-C-DS via the DITAP Program
Beginning in FY 2022, prior to assignment to digital services acquisitions over $7 million (or $13 million for acquisitions described in FAR Part 13.500(c)) contracting personnel must obtain their Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting Core-Plus Specialization in Digital Services (FAC-C-DS). FAC-C Level II or III certified candidates can earn a FAC-C-DS via the Digital IT Acquisition Professional (DITAP) Program. There are several authorized vendors who provide the training: Management Concepts, ICF, CivicActions, EAGLES, and Skylight, many have applications open now.
