Did You Know FAI CSOD Provides Access to DAU Credentials?
Civilian agency acquisition workforce members are earning DAU credentials through FAI CSOD! DAU credentials are a great way to develop and document skills applicable to your acquisition role. Credential topics include Supply Chain Integration; Introduction to Risk, Issue, and Opportunity Management; Information Technology Life Cycle Support; Cybersecurity for Program Managers; and more.
You can view the full list and enroll on the DAU Credential page. Please read the eligibility requirements for a credential before you enroll. A few DAU credentials are only available to DoD employees. Additionally, some credentials include instructor-led training that may only be available to a DoD employees.

FAI Releases Fiscal Year 2020 Annual Report
FAI is pleased to announce the release of the Fiscal Year 2020 Annual Report. The report details how FAI went above and beyond to ensure that the civilian acquisition workforce continued to receive the training and resources necessary to support agency missions during such an unprecedented and challenging year.

Register by July 26 for FQN 076 Critical Decision Making-Capstone
FQN 076 Critical Decision Making-Capstone teaches acquisition professionals how to synthesize lessons from the prerequisite courses FAC 072, 073, 074, and 075 and how to apply the Program Management Improvement Accountability Act (PMIAA) to the acquisition environment. Register through FAI CSOD by July 26 for the July 28 session. Earn 4 CLPs at completion!

Upcoming Event: Hi Def Acquisition Open House
Acquisition experts from across the government are invited to help OMB set the direction for a future Hi Def Acquisition environment that will provide on-demand access to relevant information. Adapting Category Management Principles for Your Agency
The Office of Management and Budget and the Government-wide Category Management PMO will present a seminar on how agencies and contracts are adapting category management principles. Speakers from across the government will explain how their agency's business practices are changing and the impact on procurement. Attend on July 22 at 1:00 p.m. ET and earn 1.5 CLPs. Updated Training is Now Available for IT Product Service Codes
FAI CSOD offers the newly updated Product Service Codes (PSC) modernization course FCL-CM-3000. GSA’s Integrated Award Environment (IAE) updated the course to reflect the current state of information technology acquisition best practices. This course dives into the new coding structure and how it can support your agency’s needs while aligning with the Federal Acquisition Regulation change. Earn Your FAC-C-DS via the DITAP Program
Beginning in FY 2022, prior to assignment to digital services acquisitions over $7 million (or $13 million for acquisitions described in FAR Part 13.500(c)) contracting personnel must obtain their Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting Core-Plus Specialization in Digital Services (FAC-C-DS). FAC-C Level II or III certified candidates can earn a FAC-C-DS via the Digital IT Acquisition Professional (DITAP) Program. There are several authorized vendors who provide the training. Management Concepts, ICF, CivicActions, and Skylight have open applications for upcoming cohorts.

Registration is Live for Acquisition Training for the Real World
Acquisition Training for the Real World is a virtual, two-week program that consists of daily training sessions on GSA’s tools and digital services, as well as updates on Federal Marketplace initiatives. Federal agency personnel can join daily from 1 to 2 p.m. ET starting July 26 through August 6. Register using Zoom. Earn up to 11 CLPs for attending all sessions.
