Goodbye FAITAS - Hello FAI CSOD!
After 10 years as our acquisition workforce management system, FAITAS closed to our users on May 14th. We are in the process of transferring training information and user records to FAI CSOD so that it will be ready for you in June. When FAI CSOD is available for you to access, you will notice some of the benefits of our new platform:

- Reliable access with over 99.9% uptime
- Access to training offerings from different institutions
- Course completion records shared between DAU and FAI

Periodic Table of Acquisition Innovations Seeks Community Collaboration
Acquisition community members are looking for the Periodic Table of Acquisition Innovations to help them share strategies to improve acquisition across the Federal government. Beyond providing samples and other artifacts, site users are increasingly asking for a way to collaborate with other professionals on their next acquisition. An "I Used This" button is now available for each practice. This is the first of future improvements FAI hopes to build for greater collaboration. Share your feedback about the Periodic Table today!

Recap of SAM.gov Training for Federal Users
IAE held an online training session for the upcoming integration of beta.SAM.gov with SAM.gov on May 24. The presentation recording is available on the IAE space in GSA Interact. The session focused on federal role management and demonstrated how to complete federal tasks from legacy SAM in the new environment. IAE worked with stakeholders across the spectrum to create the new SAM.gov user experience that delivers an improved workspace, search, and tools for managing data, entities, and roles.

Chief Acquisition Officer Council Acquisition, Program Management, and Small Business Excellence Awards
The Chief Acquisition Officer Council (CAOC) is accepting nominations for the Acquisition, Program Management, and Small Business Excellence Awards until July 1 at 5:00 p.m. ET. These awards recognize acquisition professionals who have contributed to improvements in acquisition, especially for efforts responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. On November 7-9, the awards will be presented at the Imagine Nation Conference. For more award details and the nomination form, check out FAI’s website.

Small Business Engagement and Category Management Seminar
The Office of Management and Budget and the Government-wide Category Management Program Management Office will host a seminar on small business engagement. Speakers from IRS, US Air Force, and USAID will share how they support small businesses within the category management framework. Strengthening small businesses is a component of the Administration’s Economy priority. Register through Zoom for seminar access on May 20 at 1:00 P.M. ET. Attend and earn 1.5 CLPs!
