Q2 FY20 Quarterly Workforce Metrics Available
FAI is pleased to announce the posting of the Q2FY20 quarterly workforce metrics on FAI.gov! The metrics provide attrition, accession, and general employment trends across two critical occupational series of the acquisition workforce, GS-1102 and GS-1101. All data is sourced directly from the Office of Personnel Management’s (OPM) FedScope database.

FAC 089 Writing Quality Past Performance Evaluations
In partnership with GSA and the Navy, FAI has released a new course designed for Acquisition Professionals (COs, CORs and PMs) entitled Writing Quality Past Performance Evaluations. In this online course, you will earn 1 CLP and learn the components of writing a good contract effort description and past performance evaluation narrative, and how to rate a contractor's performance. Professional Services Office Hours January 7

The Office of Professional Services and Human Capital Categories has prepared a series of acquisition planning packages that outline best practices, ordering guidance tailored to specific subcategories, and Special Item Numbers (SINs) offered on GSA’s Multiple Award Schedule – Professional Services Category. The Acquisition Planning Packages contain sample Requests for Information (RFIs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Statements of Objectives (SOOs), Performance Work Statement (PWSs), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), and buying guides to make ordering easier for contracting officers. FQN 076 Critical Decision Making-Capstone
In collaboration with DOI, DHS, VAAA, and NPS, FAI has released the fifth instructor-led cross-functional course, FQN 076 Critical Decision-Making Capstone. Learn to synthesize lessons from FAC 072, FAC 073, FAC 074, and FAC 075 and how to apply the Program Management Improvement Accountability Act (PMIAA) to the acquisition environment.
