Continuous Learning Period Extension
We recognize the challenges associated with obtaining Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) as organizations cancel classroom training and in-person events to focus on continuity of operations. Therefore, all Federal Acquisition Certification continuous learning achievement requirements that were up-to-date as of February 1, 2020 will be temporarily extended and considered valid. We will publish further guidance on when we will return to normal processes and how to process CLPs outside the normal CL windows. We will allow adequate time to complete necessary training.
We highly recommend organizations and individuals that wish to complete continuous learning pursue available alternative resources, including online and virtual instructor-led acquisition training. We also recommend granting continuous learning credit for continuity of operations (COOP) training or COOP work experience because maintaining acquisitions in a COOP environment is a current, critical skill set.
